A lot of members are inactive after they registered because they forgot about their membership, or they become inactive after awhile.  We should get daily or periodic notification if we receive new messages from other members.  This is an important feature to ensure members respond promptly and keep their account active.  A small message should be send to the email registered in the member's account.  

Mabye a weekly notification email or let the user choose the frequency.  With so many web sites and programs out there, many users will forget about this service after awhile.
