The reason I set up this oncoming activity is that I really hope we can have one in Dalian, which compared with Shanghai is not well developed. I have worked in Shanghai and have been to many such member self-sponsored Sallons, quite enjoyable for ppl loving english and taking it as a tool while sharing life or industrial experiences or overseas background with other members.

Actually, it's not gonna cost too much for each member, just some normal expense in cafe, like 20 or 30 yuan for a cup of coffee.

I know there are some English corners or activities at Dalian held in Zhongshan Square or in Universities, which is ok, but not the type I recommanded. These fits those students or initial english learner. The "Sallon" is not literarily different from "conner", coz it's for mature pple share sth together without or withless disruption when communicating in English.

I have personally been to Sydney and Singapore, so now when I speak english I dont feel like using a "knowledge", instead, more like a language. But as i am back and in the non-english speaking enviroment, inevitably, it dropped down a little bit.

I know some of u have the same feeling. So this venue will provide a occasion also for this.
